Political change due to political headwinds

Binary political options appear to have diluted any political dichotomy between the two parties meaning a vote for one party is a vote for the other.

Take for instance the Pandemic Treaty & particularly the amendments to the International Health Regulations; in the second document all the scary particulars of the IHR appear - for example forced lockdowns, forced vaccinations, restrictions on personal freedoms and personal restrictions on movement and censorships powers to be given to the World Health Organisation by both Labour & Conservatives.

Unbelievably, the government is to vote upon this regulation next month without conveying its consequences to the electorate; this seems to be a theme of governments proposing bills to parliament without the British public voting as to whether they concede transferring power on matters of health to an organisation and not a national government that is meant to be representative of the peoples will.

Should I mention the Gaza genocide - at the time of reporting more than 32K people have been killed and the majority being women & children. That we can support a war in Ukraine by admonishing the Russians for an invasion, but the political diatribe spoken in Parliament over the death of civilians caught in a war zone in Gaza is deceiving at its best - I don’t know about you, but I did not vote for any of this and both parties support it.

Need I also mention homelessness, cost of living crises, (brought on by endless wars), NHS waiting lists, our roads, energy & Council Tax?

'Local services for local people'? Let’s be honest they charge more for a reduced service unless you pay more for your garden waste and don’t think about going to Burscough Recycling Centre on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

Now, I accept many of the services I have mentioned are national government matters and not local government, but I came to the conclusion that to sit, and moan was not enough that action needed to be taken. I am hoping that local people have decided to send a message to government that we have had enough by voting REFORM on May 2.

It may be a small gesture but nonetheless it is an important one and should you not be concerned about the present one government of options then at least speak to your MP Ashley Dalton about the Pandemic Treaty and more importantly amendments to the International Health Regulations before it is too late and you find yourself lockdown and unable to visit family & friends in need.

Let’s not repeat this catastrophic mistake again but stand firm and challenge this handover of power to WHO.
