Recent changes under 07-01: Safe management of healthcare waste means Acupuncture waste is now subject to Pre Acceptance Audits, as clarified by the BAcC. All BAcC members in Uk are covered by the pre-acceptance procedure. These changes have meant many practices have seen increases to their waste collections with costs almost doubling.
At Principal Hygiene will never use legislation as an excuse to inflate your costs; we will only pass on costs relating to the management, carriage, disposal and or registering of your waste streams where applicable and only after ensuring you are aware of any pending charges and more importantly are in agreement.
